Analysis of rolling bearing parts production process

Compared with the general mechanical parts, bearing parts are short and thin rotary surface body. The rotary body determines that the machining machine tool is relatively simple, and most of them are lathes and grinders. The short and thin parts determine that the axial stiffness is good, the axial deformation can be ignored, and the radial stiffness is poor. Therefore, special consideration should be given to the tightening method during processing.

Although the structure of rolling bearing parts is simple, but the technical requirements are very high, so it has the following processing characteristics:

1. Precision machining

Most of the surface of bearing parts has to be grinded. The grinding dimension and geometric accuracy are in μ m, especially the raceway and rolling element of the ring have higher precision, which needs ultra precision machining or grinding.

2. Multi process processing

Bearing parts require high requirements, so there must be many production processes. General bearing production needs 20-40 processes, more than 70.

3. Molding

The working surface of bearing parts is rotary forming surface, which is suitable for processing by forming method. For example, the forging, rolling and turning grinding of the ring raceway are all processed with forming cutters or profiled plates.

In addition, the vast majority of bearings are standardized products, and the same type of bearing needs a lot. In order to improve productivity, reduce costs, ensure quality, widely adopt new technologies, and improve the level of mechanization and automation, bearing companies generally carry out mass production according to bearing models and varieties, and even establish special automatic lines or assembly lines for production.
